Koh Ngai, also named as Koh Hai, is a tiny but incredibly beautiful island in the Andaman Seas in Thailand.

The island of Ngai is part of the Mu Ko Lanta National Park. It is a small island with an area of about 4.8 square kilometers. The island is about 4 kilometers long. The east and south sides of Koh Ngai are characterized by a long sandy beach. The south side looks like a bay. The west side is a steep mountain with a height of 198 meters above sea level, located about 15 kilometers from Koh Lanta and only 13 kilometers from Trang province. Koh Ngai has a climate with evergreen forests and the duration of the tour. As on Koh Lanta and the neighboring islands, the travel season is from November to April.

 

There is a sub-office of the park on the island. It is located on the northeastern side of Koh Ngai. Around Koh Ngai, there is a coral reef still in perfect condition. The outstanding coral species in this area are cube corals, stag horn corals, branch corals, coral reefs, sponges and algae. This also includes the satellite islands in this area, namely Koh Ma, Koh Chuak and Koh Waen, which are located in the foreground and not far from Koh Ngai. 

 

Activities on Koh Ngai include snorkeling and scuba diving. Trips to the nearby islands of Koh Kradan, Koh Chueak and Koh Muk to visit the Emerald Cave, canoeing or kayaking, fishing, trekking adventures on the nearby islands of Koh Lanta in the National Park area.
